Haven’t written anything in a long time again… But I got a job yesterday!! On Monday I got a call and was invited to an interview on Tuesday. Wednesday was training day and now today I have my first shift! Amazing!

It’s called Off to Work, we’re doing different events, providing waiters, chefs etc to different clients. Today I’m going to Savoy hotel. ISN’T IT JUST SUPERCOOL? Now I’m gonna have to work non-stop until uni starts…

3. Which of your relatives do you get along with the most? My Mum. Usually. And my Granny as well. The thing is, I pretty much only have these two.
4. Did anything embarrassing happen this week? Yeah. Kind of. I’m just saying: kids, don’t drink tequila. Not too much of it, anyway.
5. Do you miss your ex? No. I can live without him.

7. Do people praise you for your looks? I guess they do here in London. Not as much as in Brazil, though, since there I’m blonde and really white and pale… But still. It’s creepy, even.
8. What is your favorite color of clothing to wear? I think black looks the best on me. So I’ve been told, at least ^^
9. How do you wear your makeup? Normally I only wear mascara and sometimes if I have time I draw a line with eyeliner or pencil. Plus lip balm. But lately I’ve also been using eye shadows and all that other shit they put in the make up kits.
10. What are some of your nicknames? Nini. And Trinchic, which is what my Mum sometimes calls me.

17. Have you ever sung in front of a crowd? All the 3 or some song festivals in Estonia that I went to, not to mention all sorts of smaller concerts with my choirs and a quartet in secondary school.

So yeah… We’ve been really busy lately. Going to clubs, pubs, cafes, parks and whatnot with all of our new friends. Everybody wants to buy us a meal (or cook it for us, since we know two chefs) or a coffee, beer, tequila etc… So we’ve been living quite freely for the last couple of weeks, eating out and stuff.

The other day we went to a Chinese restaurant in Soho. I totally fell in love with these noodles with pieces of duck meat. I will just have to go back there, it was heavenly!!

In other news, I’m making some plans for my birthday already. Well… Not really already, since it’s only 3 weeks from now. Even before the uni starts. And now I actually have friends to invite. Which is so cool I cannot even deal. And what’s weird creepy awkward cool makes me feel over the Moon is that I’ve actually got more guy friends than girl friends. Which has never happened before, because, you know, Estonian men are pigs. Most of them, anyway. Not that they aren’t pigs here, but I think I’ve just managed to find the better ones here. Or rather, they’ve found me. Which is even more comfy. Plus, you know, free food and drinks.

OMG. OMG. I just found out that Leonardo is moving here! He’s moving HERE! To London! OMG! 

He’s Luiz’ friend from Goiania. OMFG!!! I will have an actual Brazilian friend here, I could learn Portuguese with him, I could hang out with him, OMGOMGOMG. And what I really love about it is that he’s actually smart. He’s the smartest person I met in Brazil (since the smartest friend Luiz has lives in Oviedo, Spain). I will actually have a smart friend, who will, most likely, not bother me with stupid and irrelevant idiocies… JESUS CHRIST, THIS CANNOT BE REAL!!! First thing when I get back from my Christmas holiday from Estonia, I’m gonna meet up with Leo and bug him all about Goiania.

Another wake-up call. It’s the second bigger discussion we’ve had. And I’m not going to wait for third one. That’s too risky. I’m gonna really have to do something about these jealousy things. Cause, you know, I really have been hanging out with a lot of guys lately. Guys who are interested in me. I really should stop seeing them. Even if I’m not looking for anything more than friendship, it still might lead them on.

He knows I’d move to Brazil for him. In the blink of an eye. I told him that. And if it’s the last thing I’ll do, I will prove to him that I’m not like other girls. I would never hurt him. I would never betray him. This is too special to throw it away for a few moments of not even genuine happiness but only plain physical pleasure. 

I know moving to Brazil now… or in the near future… without finishing the university here would make it really hard to build a career… But that’s a chance I’d be willing to take to be with him.

The day before yesterday me and Triin went to a club. We wanted to go to District, but a guy at Piccadilly circus convinced us to go to Cafe de Paris instead. Really fancy place. I like clubs where the dresscode is smart. Men have to wear normal clothes as well, so they don’t look like homeless people.

When we went home afterwards we got two new friends, Antonino and Raul. Yesterday we went out with these two. There’s a supercool rock pub called O’Neill’s. It was super packed (all three floors and the roof terrace), but the music was great, plus there was a live band. Afterwards we took a walk to Savoy, there’s a place called Walkabout. It was pretty cool as well, but not as great as Cafe or O’Neill’s. The good thing about hanging out with Spaniards and Italians is that they keep the drinks coming. I don’t even remember how much and what sorts of stuff we drank… There was some green thing, energy drink or something, and dried ice (I think that was it). It looked really cool, like in chemistry lab when you do experiments…

We got home after 4am. Exhausted. It’s not gotten better yet, I only slept 5 hours. Now I’m gonna have to work. On a Sunday. Oh joy. The same for tomorrow, and then a conference at City Hall on Tuesday. Last Wednesday when we went there for a conference about the Paralympics business opportunities, we saw the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson. Apparently, he and one of our collegues are mates. 

Anyway, gonna do something useful now.

Yeap. I’ve been assigned to work on the Airship Company Rio 2016 Olympic project. Too cool to be true. I really hope I can make it through the trial period and then be successful with my project by the end of the year… How amazing would that be?? I could make loads of money if I succeed. And who knows, maybe they’d take me to some of their business trips to Rio and Sao Paulo…

I’ll update my job stuff to you as soon as I know anything else.

SO EXCITED!!!

A JOB! I GOT A JOB! FINALLY!!!

Well, it’s basically testing time so I won’t get paid for the first 6 weeks, but still!! I’m now officially an apprentice in HGEN Limited. It’s a renewable energy company, making biofuel from water sewage. 

I went to see a room and the owner just randomly offered me a job, when he heard that I’m starting my second year in Tourism (which is all about sustainability). So yeah, I didn’t take the room, but instead I got a job. So, in the end, it all does come down to connections…

Anyway, tomorrow we’re gonna discuss the project so I’m gonna have a bit clearer picture about what I’m gonna do there.

I still need a place to live, though…
